Health official: WHO shipment items to be used in labs all across Iran
Tehran (IP) - Iran's Deputy Health Minister Alireza Raisi said in an exclusive interview with Iran Press news agency that the shipment donated by the World Health Organization (WHO), has allowed Iran to equip 24 labs all across the country.
Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's Deputy Health Minister Alireza Raisi said that the shipment donated by World Health Organization (WHO), containing COVID-19 diagnostic test kits, enables Iran to equip some 24 laboratories all across the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Raisi also added: "The number of laboratories will be increased to some 40 labs all across Iran shortly."
Iran's top health official also referred to other health items that exist in the shipment including masks, gowns and similar items regarded as personal protection equipment.
Raisi also highlighted that despite the shortage of some items like having access to masks or national production lines are also manufacturing diagnostic kits and masks so that the problems would be solved in 3 or 4 days.
Raisi's remarks came on the sideline of the press conference held on Tuesday to discuss the latest COVID-19 updates in Iran.
