  • Iran turns corona crisis to opportunities for exporting its experiences

IP - The Iranian government has turned the coronavirus crisis to opportunities for exporting its experiences to other countries.

Iran Presscommentary: Two months ago, WHO Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean, Richard Bernan while coronavirus had been seen outside Iran’s borders, said that the country has one of the strongest health systems among East Mediterranean countries.

He added that exchanging information is very essential for the world and Iran’s achievements regarding coronavirus should be exported to other countries.

Now the time for such cooperation has come.

In an online conversation with Kabul Mayor Mohammad Dawood Sultanzoy on Friday, Tehran Mayor Pirooz Hanachi said: "Coronavirus has shown that it does not follow the contractual and political boundaries of countries, and all people around the world are passengers of the very same ship."

Hanachi also has stressed Iran’s readiness to share its experiences in the fight against coronavirus with other countries.

Iran ready to share educational experiences with ISESCO members

Meanwhile, in a virtual conference with the Islamic Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) education ministers from 50 countries on Thursday, Iranian Education Minister Mohsen Haji Mirzaei has announced Iran's readiness to provide the Islamic members of ISESCO with the capacities necessary for virtual education as well as sharing educational experiences.

Helping fellowmen without the political views of some countries regarding this humanistic issue is among lessons that coronavirus has taught us. Many countries have helped one another in this way, but the US officials’ behavior this regard was an exception. They become happy while using countries' problems and challenges in a way that helps them to achieve their political goals. By putting sanctions on Iran, they tried to introduce it as an incapable country.

But now the Islamic Republic of Iran not only is ready to supply its medical needs to fight against coronavirus but also gathered useful information which can share it with other countries.

Recently, medical packages, gathered by Iran's Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics, has been given to Afghanistan’s officials.

Afghan Ambassador to Tehran Abdolghafor Lival said that Iranian people and government have always been beside Afghanistan’s people.

He added that at this critical time countries' humanistic actions shows the depth of their friendships.

Today, all countries are engaging with the coronavirus crisis. The number of infected people is reaching 5 million people.

Infections with COVID-19 have become a global crisis and there is no prediction about its end. In such a situation, there should be collaboration in sharing experiences in order to turn this threat to an opportunity.
