Commemoration ceremony for late Lt. Gen. Soleimani, al-Muhandis in Basra, Iraq

A ceremony has been held in Iraq's Basra to commemorate the 40th day of the commander of Qods Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Martyr Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani and the Second-in-Command of Iraq' Popular Military Force (PMF) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
Iran Press/Middle East: The late Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, who had traveled to Iraq on the official invitation of the Iraqi officials, was assassinated by the US air-raid in Baghdad on January 3, 2020, along with the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and 8 companions.
Many countries, organizations, and groups have condemned the US terrorist act.
