Disagreements between major political figures in Tunisia has intensified the political crisis in the country.

The Political crisis in the country has been protracted because Tunisian politicians and major political parties have failed to resolve their differences.

But negotiations are  underway between major political parties' representatives in Tunisia in order to find a breakthrough and end the political stalemate in the country.

Meanwhile, nine members of Tunisia's security forces were killed on Sunday in an attack in the west of the country, close to the border with Algeria.
