IP - Nigerian police killed a teenager for taking part in a peaceful demonstration in support of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaki.

Iran PressAfrica: Nigerian Police force martyred 15-year-old teenager Muhammad Jawad  Liman for taking part in a peaceful demonstration in Kaduna city on Wednesday, according to the Al-Ahed website.

The demonstration was held to demand the release of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaki, the leader of the Nigerian Islamic Movement and his wife.

Violent actions by the Nigerian police and military are continuing against Sheikh Zakzaki's supporters and so far many have been arrested or martyred.

Dozens of members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), along with its leader, have been detained since the army attacked the Husseiniyah of Zaria, Kaduna State, in 2015, and have been held in jail without any evidence.

Sheikh Zakzaki and his wife are still in jail despite a court order that acquitted them once; their health is now in critical condition.
