Iran's envoy to Kenya, Dr. Jafar Barmaki, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Kenya, presented his credentials to the Director-General of the United Nations Office, Ms. Zeinab Hawa Bangura.

Iran Press/ Africa: In addition to representing Iran to the Government of Kenya, Dr. Barmaki is also a representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations Office in Nairobi.

During his meeting, Barmaki presented his background in the field of international organizations and expressed his readiness to cooperate with the United Nations in various fields. Ms. Bangura, in return, welcomed Iran's ambassador, expressing hope that her experiences would be effective in furthering the goals of the United Nations, which is the goals of the member states.
