Travelers from Europe banned from entering the US
US president Donald Trump has banned European passengers except UK from entering to the country over the Coronavirus.
Iran Press/ America: In a national address from the Oval Office on Wednesday, Trump announced a 30-day ban on some travel from Europe into the US.
The US president said that the travel suspension would begin Friday at 11:59 p.m. and would exclude the U.K.
Trump suggested the restrictions would also apply to cargo, but the White House later said they applied only to people.
According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, he also blamed the European Union for not acting quickly enough to address the novel Coronavirus and claimed that U.S. clusters were ‘seeded’ by European travelers.
