Tehran (IP) - Facebook announced on Tuesday it has eliminated hundreds of accounts under the pretext of spreading pro-Iranian messages.
Iran Press/America: Without showing adequate documentation, Facebook claimed that the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Corporation (IRIB), using "hundreds of fake social media accounts", has spread pro-Iranian messages since 2011, and targeted voters in countries including Britain and the United States.
In a monthly report of accounts suspended for so-called "coordinated inauthentic behavior", Facebook said it had removed eight networks in recent weeks, including one with links to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Corporation (IRIB).
