New York (IP)- "US cannot be a JCPOA “Participant” since President Donald Trump ceased US participation, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations wrote on his twitter page.

Iran Press/America: "The US ambassador at the United Nations believes that the US retains the right to initiate snapback of sanctions under UNSCR 2231. WRONG: US cannot be a JCPOA “Participant” since the US president Donald Trump ceased the country's participation," Ambassador Majid Takht Ravanchi highlighted.

"The US—which is in violation of the resolution—has no right to initiate anything under 2231," he wrote.
