Report: Muslims in China’s capital mark end of Ramadan

Muslims in city of Beijing marked the last day of the fasting month of Ramadan with special prayers at the city’s mosques.
Each year, more than a thousand Muslims gathered at Doudian Mosque in Beijing to celebrate Eid al-Fitr to mark the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
Muslims around China are eligible for a day off on Eid al-Fitr.
After prayers, people queued up to receive meals prepared for the special occasion as a celebration.
For some Muslims in China, it is their first Eid al-Fitr in Beijing after working near Doudian Mosque for three months and they are loving it.
