Iran, Qatar stress strengthening of bilateral ties

Iran's President and the Emir of Qatar had a meeting on Thursday in Kuala Lumpur, on the sidelines of Kuala Lumpur Summit 2019, discussing bilateral ties.
Iran Press/ Asia: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani stressed cementing and deepening of ties between Tehran and Doha.
The two officials also agreed to develop bilateral ties further, in all areas of cooperation.
On the sidelines of the Kuala Lumpur Summit 2019, President Rouhani also had separate meetings with Malaysian King Sultan Abdullah, and Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad on Wednesday and praised the Malaysian Prime Minister's timely action to hold the Kuala Lumpur conference to address the most important issues of the world of Islam.
