Non-Aligned Movement virtual summit kicks off
The virtual summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) kicked off on Monday evening with the attendance of representatives from 40 countries including Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
Iran Press/Asia: Non-Aligned Movement virtual summit begins with a speech by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev as the President of the 18th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement via video conference.
President of the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly Tijani Mohammad Bande will also deliver a speech, followed by a video message from Secretary-General of the United Nations Anthony Guterres.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will also deliver a speech during this summit.
The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) will present a justification report on the outbreak and control of COVID-19 in the world.
Representatives from 40 countries are attending this virtual meeting, which includes 19 presidents, a vice president, six prime ministers, a deputy prime minister, eight foreign ministers, and an interior minister.
