Iran seeks deepening economic ties with Georgia
The Iranian ambassador in Tbilisi called for deepening economic relations between Iran and Georgia.
Iran Press/ Asia: Ambassador of Iran to Georgia Seyed Javad Ghavam-Shahidi met with the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Natia Turnava in Tbilisi on Wednesday, noting the two countries' potential for co-operation, stressed efforts to revive relations and deepen economic cooperation.
While supporting the expansion of economic cooperation with Iran, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia added the coronavirus is one of the most important factors in reducing trade volume between the two countries and with the curbing of the coronavirus pandemic, boosting the economic relations and trade ties will be on the agenda.
