Afghan top diplomat said Iranian diplomacy key to US failure
The leader of Afghanistan's Islamic Movement said Iranian diplomacy capability led the US to isolation and defeat since its withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Iran Press/Asia: Mohammad Maulavi Mukhtar Mufleh said on Sunday that the US' hostile and barbaric policies against the Muslim world, its monopoly, and unilateralism under Donald Trump, especially its unilateralist policy toward various world and region's powers such as Iran, has isolated the United States in the international arena.
Mufleh stressed that Iran's diplomatic agenda managed to change the atmosphere in international politics and the UN Security Council, which was moving towards creating a hostile consensus against the Islamic Republic of Iran and disappoint the US in approving the draft resolution on Iran's arms embargo.
The Afghan politician referred to the US recalcitrance approach to such international agreement as Trans-Pacific Partnership, Paris Agreement, and the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF), the US has lost its credibility in the international community.
