Alireza Faghani and César Ramos Iranian and Mexican referees are in charge of first last 16 matches.
Referees from Mexico and Iran will take charge of the first knock-out games of the World Cup, governing body FIFA said Thursday.
Mexican referee Cesar Ramos will take charge of Uruguay v Portugal in Sochi while the meeting between France and Argentina in Kazan will be refereed by Iranian referee Alireza Faghani.
Both matches are on Saturday to open the round of 16.
