    Iranian teenage chess player becomes world champion

Iranian chess player, Barad Yeganegi, became world champion (open U8) in the 3rd FIDE World Cadets Rapid & Blitz Championships in Minsk, Belarus.

Iran Press/Europe: The world champion in the 3rd FIDE World Cadets Rapid & Blitz Championships among boys and girls under 8,10, and 12 years old held in Minsk, Belarus; from 15 to 19 August 2019.

Iranian chess player, Barad Yeganegi, became world champion (open U8) with achieving 1521 ratings and showing perfect score in the tournament 9/9.

Yeganegi also managed to win a bronze medal in the rapid chess championship.

635 young chess players from 35 countries participated in the competitions. 205/218
