The Albanian police have allegedly held Iran accountable for subversive activities in the European country.

Iran Press/ Europe: In a statement, the Albanian police claimed on Wednesday that they have foiled a number of planned attacks last year by the Iranian agents against Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO), a terrorist outfit living in Albania.

Since 2014, some 3,000 members of MKO have settled in Albania and now live in a camp near Durres, the country’s main port.

Earlier on July 30, Iran's Judiciary chief said that the members of the terrorist group are US soldiers without uniforms who have been punished by the Iranian nation at different times.

For a long time, Albania has been served as a sanctuary of the terrorists backed by the USA and the Zionist Regime.

Since the Islamic Revolution of Iran in 1979, the terrorist outfit has assassinated more than 17000 Iranian citizens in different terrorist operations.

Furthermore, on December 20, 2018, Iran's Bahram Ghassemi (then spokesperson of Iran's Foreign Ministry) said that Albania has been the victim of the ominous plots of the United States and Israel against Iran.

Iran has always maintained an appropriate level of ties with Albania and respected the internal laws of the country, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman noted.

During the recent months, the US together with the Zionist Regime has been doing its best to target Iran through psychological warfare against the country so that they could deteriorate the European–Iranian ties and relations dealing with the US sanctions.
