Twitter blocks Iran embassy Russian language account
The media department of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia announced that Twitter had blocked the embassy's Russian-language account for no apparent reason.
Iran Press/ Europe: The media department of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia stated in a statement on Monday evening that Twitter has not provided Iran's embassy with any response about the reason behind the move.
Twitter has previously blocked hundreds of pages and accounts linked to Iran for no apparent reason, contrary to the principle of freedom of expression that Westerners claim.
