Chinese ambassador warns UK of canceling Huawei's contract
The Chinese ambassador in London warned on Sunday about the consequences of canceling the British government's contract with Huawei and imposing sanctions on Beijing.

The British Minister of Communications, Oliver Duden, announced in the Parliament last Tuesday that the United Kingdom has decided to ban Chinese company Huawei from participating in future fifth-generation mobile phone projects.
The decision came after Washington put pressure on London and US sanctions against Huawei were implemented.
In consultation with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, US President Donald Trump said Tuesday night that he had persuaded him and his administration to ban Huawei from participating in fifth-generation mobile phone infrastructure projects in Britain.
The United States has accused Huawei, the world's largest maker of telecommunications equipment, of "spying" for the Chinese government; An accusation that Beijing has strongly denied.
