With a total of 10 medals, which include 3 Gold, 7 Silver and 2 Bronze medals, Iran are placed at the 4th spot in the overall medals tally on the Day 5 of the Asian Games 2018.

According to an Iran Press report, Iranian athletes won a heartening 3 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals on the fifth day of the 2018 Asian Games.

In Woshou competition, Iran won two gold medals ( Erfan Ahangarian and Mohsen Mohammad Seifi ) and three silver medals ( Foroud Zafari  and the two Mansourian sisters ).

Reza Alipour won a gold medal in rock climbing, Iran's 10th gold medal in the Asian Games. 

In total, Iran has won 10 gold , 9 silver, and 8 bronze medals at the end of the fifth day of the Asian Games 2018.
