The Scientific Secretary for Nutrition Congress, Beheshteh Olang described children's obesity as a serious problem in our society.

Iran Press/Iran news: The scientific secretary for nutrition congress, Beheshteh Olang, said in an exclusive interview with Iran Press news agency on Thursday stressed on the importance of nutrition planning in Iran.

"It is very important we start nutrition plan it consists of a hundred days of before pregnancy, pregnancy and after giving birth and for the healthy neonate, we need healthy mothers and for having healthy mothers we need a healthy diet," Olang said.

She added that "A decade ago, we suffered from malnutrition but now, the problem is children's obesity".

"As a nutritional society, we must have a plan to prevent obesity in children," She continued." 212/103
