Iran 2018 steel output rises 17% to 25 million Tons

Iran was ranked 10th in the world, for production of steel in 2018, placed between Brazil, the world's ninth largest producer, and Italy (11th).
Iran Press/ Iran news: Iranian steel mills produced a total of about 25 million tons of crude steel in 2018, up 17.7% compared to 2017, according to the latest report released by World Steel Association.
Iran’s December steel output grew 14.1% year-on-year to hit 2.26 million tons, the Brussels-based international trade body for the iron and steel industry added.
According to a Financial Tribune report, Iran has been ranked the world’s 10th biggest steel producer in 2018. The country is placed between Brazil (ninth) with 34.73 million tons and Italy (11th) with 24.47 million tons. 101/ 211 /202
