First international conference on 'Persian School - Iranian Architecture' kicks off

Yazd (IP) - The eighth national conference and the first international conference on 'Persian School - Iranian Architecture' kicked off on Tuesday, March 5th attended by the Minister of Education, Seyyed Mohammad Bathaei at Yazd University, in central Iran.
Iran Press/Iran news: 600 officials, experts, architects, professors and students, education directors and school modernization managers, school contractors and a group of practitioners of renovation, refurbishing, equipping and constructing schools attend the 3-day conference, Iran Press reported.
Speaking at the conference, Iran's Minister of Education, Seyyed Mohammad Bathaei said: "Each year, half of the cost of building, renovation, and refurbishment of all schools in the country is provided by benefactors and donors."
The Minister of Education also unveiled a special stamp issued to mark the eighth national conference of Persian school-Iranian architecture. 103/211/213
