The biggest Middle East 'Earth Sciences Park Museum' in Mashhad
Mashad (IP) - Mashhad's 'Museum of Earth Sciences' located in northeastern part of Iran in Khorasan Razavi province, attracts tourists from far and wide.
Iran Press/Iran news: Mashhad's 'Museum of Earth Sciences' is the largest of Iran's geology museums with eye-catching natural views, and has turned into a well-known center for local and foreign tourists.
'Museum of Earth Sciences' or Park-Museum of Geology is the first Geology Park-Museum and the biggest of its kind in the Middle East, has an archive of 200,000 specimens and displayed 2,500 geological specimens including rocks, gemstones, minerals, fossils, and geological maps, Iran Press reported.
In this Park-Museum tourists can visit a mine Tunnel and get familiar with mining operations and excavations in an actual mine.
