Foreign Ministry spokesman: Zarif's remarks disturb US politicians
The Foreign Ministry spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi has emphasized that Mohammad Javad Zarif’s interviews with American media have unsettled US politicians.
Iran Press/Iran news: Seyyed Abbas Mousavi made the remark in response to the spokesperson for the US State Department, Morgan Ortagus, saying that do you know Madam what Zarif said is an idiom used by Persian language speakers, ‘pouring water into resting place of ants’, an idiomatic expression which means to disturb someone.
Ortagus has said in reaction to Zarif’s interviews with mainstream American media that freedom prevails in the US and Zarif is in New York to use its freedoms, Iran Press reported.
She was also worried about the influence of Zarif interviews, saying she was surprised to see that some still welcome Zarif.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman Mousavi also in a tweet responded to the claims by the spokesperson for the U.S. State Department about Zarif.
You know Madam! What @Jzarif did in US is "Water poured into the nest of Ants!"
