Tehran (IP) - The member of the Iranian Parliament’s cultural commission, Ahad Azadikhah has said Iranians have proven they are in favour of negotiations and they are logical, but any attempt from the other side to abuse JCPOA against Iran is not acceptable.

Iran Press/Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Tuesday on the sideline of a parliamentary session, Ahad Azadikhah, a senior MP and member of the Majlis cultural commission said: “Both during the nuclear negotiations with the 5+1 Group, and elsewhere we have proven over many years that Iranians are logical and open to negotiations."

Whether in negotiations with the Europeans and US in JCPOA or on other occasions, our nation has shown to the rest of world that we are in favour of dialogue.

Azadikhah added: “We have shown the world we are neither looking for a conflict nor do we support terrorism.”

Turning to US withdrawal from JCPOA and US sanctions against Iran, the Iranian MP stressed: “Unfortunately, the other side was not serious in negotiations. The Americans showed they are not cultured and they are not civilised, and they are only adept in bullying and dictating to others."

He added: “Now, after US injudicious withdrawal from JCPOA and Europe’s dithering and inaction on its obligations, we do not see any reason to postpone our decision on JCPOA; it is not in our national interests”.

The Iranian MP went on to say: "There is no hope of seeing the Europeans adopt an independent policy from US and it is obvious that the Iranian nation will not accept the other side to abuse JCPOA, to trample over our rights; we “will not accept” it and God willing, this won’t happen.  212/103
