National Resistance Music Festival held in Tabriz

Tabriz (IP) - The second National Defence, Resistance and Epic Music Festival was held in Tabriz, northwestern Iran, marking the anniversary of US downing of Iranian commercial passenger plane on 3 July 1988.
Iran Press/Iran news: The second National Defence, Resistance, and Epic Music Festival was held on July 3 in the city of Tabriz, in northwestern Iran.
Artists from East Azarbaijan, Ardebil, Kermanshah, North Khorasan, Khorasan-e Razavi, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Lorestan and Bushehr provinces performed their music and displayed their talent at the festival, reported Iran Press.
On 3 July 1988, Iran Air Flight 655, flying from Bandar Abbas to Dubai, was shot down by the USS Vincennes, a huge United States missile cruiser. All 290 people who were on board of the Iranian airliner were killed, including 66 children.
