Americans afraid of Iran dialogue: Kadkhodaei
The spokesman for Iran's Guardian Council wrote in a tweet that the US sanctions against Iranian FM show that the US fears Iran's dialogue.
Iran Press/ Iran news: "Sanctions imposed on Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif show the fact that the US president and his allies' speaking about negotiation is only a lie," Iran's Guardian Council spokesman Abbas Ali Kadkhodaie tweeted.

"Sanctioning Zarif means that freedom of speech is only a claim by the Americans. It is a sign of falling the Statue of Liberty," Kadkhodaei added.
The US administration has imposed sanctions on Iran's foreign minister in the latest effort by Washington to ratchet up its 'maximum pressure' campaign against Tehran.
The US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin had said that Zarif would be targeted with US sanctions.
This happens after Trump wrote in a tweet, "Just remember, the Iranians never won a war, but never lost a negotiation!"
Zarif in a message thanked the US for considering him as a huge threat to their agenda. 203/209/201
