Visiting Minister of Finance and Public Credit of Nicaragua underlined the broadening of relations between Managua and Tehran.

Iran press/Iran news: A high-ranking economic delegation from Nicaragua, headed by the country’s minister of finance Iván Acosta Montalván, met with Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in Tehran on Saturday. 

During this meeting, Montalván said that his country is interested to deepen its good relations with Iran at all levels, Iran press reported. 

Earlier in the day, Iran and Nicaragua signed cooperation MoUs on different sectors, at the presence of Iván Acosta Montalván, and the Iranian Minister of Finance Farhad Dejpasand.

The agreements were on making joint investments on oil, agriculture, some industrial activities besides outsourcing farming of Iran in Nicaragua, Dejpasand said.

In July, Iran's foreign minister visited Nicaragua as a part of his trip to Latin America. 101
