Sistan and Baluchestan (IP) - Rostam castle from the Islamic era, is one of the attractions in Sistan and Baluchestan, southeast of Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: The castle was built by Safavid dynasty-Seljuq dynasty, located at a distance of 70 km of Zabol road to Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan province.

The castle enjoyed its peak of glory and prosperity during the Safavid era, according to archaeological experts in Iran, Iran Press reported.

The architectural plan of the castle was shaped in a form of an irregular trapezoid, with a trench around the castle to protect the enemies' invasion based on Sasanian architecture. 104/218
