The Iranian ground forces kicked off their unannounced military drill in the Urmia region in the northwestern province.

Iran Press /Iran News: The drill held on Wednesday morning in the Bari region with the Commander of Iran’s Army Major General Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi in attendance.

The surprise military drill is being held in order to enhance combat readiness and quick response of the military units, Iran Press reported.
