Rouhani: Resistance is not in conflict with the interaction with the world
Kerman (IP) - Iranian President has said that a country cannot step on the path to progress, while it is isolated.
Iran Press/ Iran news: describing Iran's future as brilliant, Hassan Rouhani said: "For being on the path to progress, we must not be isolated."
Rouhani added that the Islamic Republic will present on any negotiating table which does not conflict with Iran's national interests.
"We negotiate, but our rights must be protected. We will negotiate within the framework of national pride and for the sake of preserving our national interests," he said.
Iranian President made the remarks during a ceremony to inaugurate the direct steel production project at the Baft Steel Complex in the city of Baft, Kerman Province, southeast of Iran.
"The country that is on the path to progress will never be weak. We are negotiating for our national interest. The inauguration of this factory has happened thanks to JCPOA. Many parts of the factory we are inaugurating today were imported after the JCPOA was signed," Rouhani concluded.

"We will stand up against world powers only by action, not by Slogan" he underscored.
"A few years ago, we were ranked 13th in the world in steel production, but now we are in the tenth, and we have surpassed countries like France and Italy. This means that Iran is not sanctioned. If one path closes, we will continue on another path," Rouhani added.
The president said: "All the changes that took place in different parts of South Pars gas field were thanks to the JCPOA, and if we wouldn't have signed the agreement, none of them would be opened."

"All parts of facilities arrived after the agreement. Now the sanctions have been restored. According to JCPOA, foreign specialists were to come to Iran to set up facilities, which did not come with the return of sanctions and these facilities were set up by domestic experts," President Rouhani added.
