Iran's Minister of Information and Communication Technology said he would continue to support free access to the Internet and would not allow the United States to halt Iran's development, mocking US sanctions against himself.
Iran Press/ Iran news: In response to US sanctions against him, Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi wrote on Twitter that he is not the only member of the club of sanctioned persons based on the US President Donald Trump's fairytales.

The US Treasury Department has put Azeri Jahromi on its list of sanctions under the pretext of what it calls 'censorship and denial of access to the Internet'.
According to a statement by US Treasury Department, under the new sanction, any of the Iranian minister's property would be blocked under US jurisdiction.
