The Ministry of Intelligence of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Thursday evening denied a BBC News report that some Basij forces had been arrested.
Iran Press/ Iran News: Earlier, the BBC quoted an unnamed source as saying that more than ten Basij members had been detained overnight in connection with the recent protests in Iran over gas price hike.
The BBC claimed that Iran's Ministry of Intelligence has arrested more than 10 Basij members earlier this week.
