Kermanshah (IP) - The Austrian ambassador to Tehran visited the largest waste recycling project in Kermanshah, west of Iran.

Iran PressIran news: Austrian Ambassador to Iran, Stefan Scholz during a visit to the environmental project in Kermanshah, west Iran said: "The waste recycling project in Kermanshah is one of the largest and most equipped industrial centers in Iran."

He reiterated that the waste recycling project in Kermanshah is an economic project that has a great impact on the environment and creates a social and cultural base for the people.

The Austrian Ambassador highlighted the importance of the project's continuation, adding that he would seek assistance (Technical and financial) from Austria and the European Union to develop the project.

The Austrian ambassador to Tehran underlined that the environment should not be victimized by the sanctions, adding, "The waste recycling plan in Kermanshah is a model for the whole world that meets all global standards, and the existence of this site in Kermanshah, Iran reflects the cultural maturity and sophistication of the people."

Stefan Scholz also paid a visit to the historic complex of Taq-e-Bostan after visiting the waste recycling center.
