Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met and held talks with the UN Deputy Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo on the sidelines of the Doha Forum.

Iran Press/Middle East: Earlier, Zarif explained Iran's goals for the Hormuz Peace Endeavor in a meeting with the "Elders Group", comprised of former secretaries-general and senior UN officials, Iran Press reported.

Iran's Foreign Minister has also met with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al-Thani and Polish foreign minister as well as Iraqi National Security Adviser Falih al-Fayyadh.

The meetings were held on Sunday, December 15, on the sideline of the Doha Forum which is slated for 14-15 December.205
