The historical single-sculpture of Achaemenid soldier
The Iranian historical single-sculpture of Achaemenid soldier seized by the US was put on public display after 80 years with the presence of the Minister of cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism, his deputy, and the Milad Tower director.
The Head of Milad Tower Mojtaba Hosseini Tavasol said that the single object was taken back because of the Iranian old civilization and art behind it and that after 80 years of being captivated by the US, it is on display for the public.
The Director-General of National Museum Jebrael Nokandeh said no one can rob or seize Iran's cultural and artistic assets.
Also, the minister of cultural heritage, handicrafts, and tourism said that the single historical object is supposed will be put on public display across the country, adding that it has already been showcased in Khuzestan and Khorasan provinces.
Following measures taken by the Presidential Legal Service Center, the Foreign Ministry, and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism, the historic object returned to Iran on the US Attorney Office's decision.
