Tabriz (IP) - The first production line of explosion-proof electric motors has been launched in Tabriz, the capital of East Azerbaijan Province, northwest of Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: Tabriz's 'Motogen' company has invested one million euros in foreign currency and 20 billion Rials to operate the first production line of explosion-proof motors with the annual production capacity of 12,000 motors.

With the production of these explosion-proof electric motors, the Islamic Republic of Iran will save about 5 million euros annually.

Explosion-proof electric motors are used for indoor and fire-prone environments, especially the oil and gas industry.
