Iran's President Hassan Rouhani notified the resolution on naming January 3rd as the International Day of Resistance.
Iran Press/Iran News: The Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution of Iran had named January 3rd as the International Day of Resistance in the country's official calendar.
Saeed Reza Ameli, Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution said Iran has declared January 3, the day Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani was assassinated in a United States airstrike in Baghdad, as the International Day of Resistance, Iran Press reported.
Members of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution are trying the World Sacrifice Award to be named after the Lt. Gen. Soleimani Award.
