'Khorasani Dotār' resonates in Poland

Warsaw (IP) - The Dotār -- a traditional Iranian musical instrument -- is a long-necked two-stringed lute and Dotār maestros performed for a Polish audience in Warsaw.
Iran Press/Europe: Dotār was registered in UNESCO's list of world heritage on Thursday 12 December 2019 as one of the most prominent social and cultural components of Iranian folk music.
The instrument, which is prominent in Torbat-e-Jam city, Khorasan Razavi province, was performed in Poland on the first leg of a European tour.
Khorasan is the cradle of music and Dotār in Iran and Khorasani Dotār is one of the most important and ancient instruments of Iranian music that has been played over centuries in all parts of Iran.
