US regime has nothing to do with democracy: Guardian Council Spokesman
Tehran (IP) - Iran's Guardian Council spokesman referred to the recent US sanctions on members of the Guardian Council and said the US regime has shown through its illegal sanctions that it has nothing to do with democracy.
Iran Press/Iran news: Abbasali Kadkhodaei said on Friday on his Twitter account that the US has no connection to democracy, its illegal sanctions are a proof of this, and its only allies in the region are the (Israeli) child-killer regime, and the unpopular Arab dictatorships which the US treats as 'milking cows'.
The US Treasury Department announced new sanctions against members of Iran’s Guardian Council and its Elections Supervision Committee on Thursday 20 February, just a day before parliamentary elections in Iran.
