Tehran (IP)- Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg, who headed to Iran, began his first round of talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif minutes ago.

Iran PressIran news: At the meeting, the two sides welcomed the expansion of good bilateral relations and emphasized its deepening in all areas.

The latest developments of the JCPOA and the commitments of the Europeans were the most important topics discussed between Zarif and Schallenberg in the first round of talks.

The two officials will meet with the Iranian president after the first round of talks, then they engage in the second round of talks at the Foreign Ministry on Sunday afternoon.

It was previously said that the Austrian Foreign Minister would travel to Tehran to convey the European Union's message on the JCPOA.
