Tehran (IP) - Leader of the Islamic Revolution, advised all those eager for this spiritual ceremony to cancel this year's seclusion saying: "For those who have been deprived of the virtue of seclusion, it is better to say the prayer of Hazrat Jafar al-attayar for each of these three days."

Iran Press/ Iran news: Given the existing circumstances, the head of the central headquarters for seclusion sent a letter to the leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, asking for advice for those who were intending to attend the spiritual ceremony of seclusion and are now deprived of this grace.

Etekaf (seclusion) is one of the recommended Islamic prayers in which a person stays in the mosque for a specified period of time and performs worship.

This year due to the spread of the coronavirus and the recommendations and guidelines of community outreach agencies as well as medical centers to prevent the disease, spiritual retreats is not held al across Iran.
