Tehran (IP) - 7913 patients who were infected with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) have been recovered and discharged from hospitals across Iran, Health Ministry Spokesman announced on Sunday.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Kianoush Jahanpour at a press conference on March 22nd, 2020, released the latest data on the coronavirus for the past 24 hours. 

In his daily press conference that was held at the Health Ministry on Sunday, Jahanpour said that 129 more people died because of the novel coronavirus during the past 24 hours.

He went on to say that 7913 people have recovered in total since the outbreak of coronavirus in Iran.

Given the latest figures of the Health Ministry, the total number of people diagnosed with the coronavirus has reached 21638 people, out of whom 1685 people died.
