Tehran (IP) - In response to Iran Press question, the Iranian health ministry's spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour said that it is clear for Iranians and the world the US is imposing pressure and waging war against people to run its power.

Iran Press/ Iran News: "The US as a power and a rich country is unable to offer and provide the sanitizers, hygienic materials to its citizens", the Iranian health ministry's spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour said.

"The US citizens share their inability to provide the basic hygienic amenity to combat the COVID-19 in the cyberspace, but it denies it," Spox added, saying: "But Iran by depending and counting on its capabilities and the young generation will provide its needs and overcome the tangle."

"The US imposed sanctions and more pressure on Iranians instead of countering the disease", the official highlighted.

"The world must see and witness that the US imposed food and medical sanctions on Iran while the whole world is grappling with the virus," Jahanpour underscored.

"The US tries to overshadow the control of the virus in Iran, the region and the world while itself is absolutely unable to contain the disease, the catastrophe is the proof in its hospitals' waiting rooms," he concluded.
