Recovery stepped up; Recovered COVID-19 patients reach to 44,000

Tehran (IP)- Head of Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Health announced that so far, 71,686 people in the country have definitely been infected with the Coronavirus, 4,474 people have died due to the virus and 43,894 have recovered.
Iran Press/ Iran News: Kianoush Jahanpour on Sunday about the latest data on the deadly coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus said, "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to April 12 in the country, 1,657 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 71,686."
Fortunately, 43,894 patients have recovered and have been discharged so far, Jahanpour added.
The head of the Ministry of Public Relations Center said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 117 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 4,474 people have lost their lives in the country to date."
He stated, "3,930 patients are in a critical condition."
