Tehran (IP) - Iran's Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) said that the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, once again became the 'Messenger of Light' as IRGC announced it successfully launched the country's first military reconnaissance satellite.

Iran Press/Iran News: Ali Shamkhani in his recent post on Twitter on Wednesday praised the IRGC and wrote: The IRGC once again became the "Messenger of Light" in the anniversary of its establishment, and registered the honorable launch of the first military satellite of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the thick record of this sacred institution's "Firsts". 

The IRGC announced on Wednesday that it has successfully launched 'Noor', as the first military satellite of the Islamic Republic of Iran, into orbit.

#IRGC has became the #GhasedENour (messenger of light) in its birth anniversary & honor of successful launch of the first military satellite of #Iran was recorded in the vast record of the firsts of this sacred entity.

The satellite launch was carried out on the anniversary of the establishment of the IRGC.

The late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini, in a decree to the Revolution Council on April 22, 1979, officially announced the establishment of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps.
