'Pious Help' maneuver kicks off in southeastern Iran
Zahedan (IP) - The first phase of the charity maneuver called the 'Pious Help' was carried out in Zahedan, the capital city of Sistan and Baluchistan Province in southeastern Iran on Thursday.
Iran Press/ Iran News: The event is aimed at providing the needy and those whose lives have been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak with relief.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), the Basij volunteer forces, the Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order (EIKO), the Foundation for the Underprivileged, and other volunteer groups are distributing more than 350,000 support packages to the needy and those whose lives have been affected by COVID-19 outbreak.
The 'Pious Help' maneuver was held in Tehran and 7 other provinces on Wednesday with the attendance of Deputy Commander of the Army Ground Forces for Coordination Ali Jahanshahi, and Deputy Commander of the Army Ground Forces Nozar Nemati.
