Tehran (IP) - Head of Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Health announced that so far, 116,635 people in the country have definitely been infected with the Coronavirus, 6,902 people have died due to the virus and 91,836 of total infected people have recovered.

Iran Press/Iran news: Kianoush Jahanpour on Friday about the latest data on the deadly coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus said, "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to May 15 in the country, 2,102 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 116,635." 

Fortunately, 91,836 patients have recovered and have been discharged so far, Jahanpour added.

The Spokesman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 48 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 6,902 people have lost their lives in the country to date."

He stated, "2,727patients are in a critical condition."

"So far, 658,604 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," according to the spokesman. 101
