Kurdistan (IP) - Sanandaj Jameh Mosque (Grand Mosque) or Dar ul-Ihsan Mosque is one of the most magnificent Islamic monuments in Kurdistan province in western Iran, which has been built in the heart of Sanandaj and in the historical texture of this city.
Iran Press/ Iran News: Sanandaj Historical Mosque is one of the prominent examples of Qajar historical architecture.
The city of Sanandaj, the capital of Kurdistan Province, is known as the city of minarets due to the number of mosques.
Over 20 mosques and historical religious sites in this city have been registered as national monuments of Iran, most of which date back to the Qajar era.
